In February 2004 we realised there was a need for a quality, customer service based DIY homebrewing supplies shop in the Northern Suburbs of Wollongong. I had been brewing for a number of years before opening Northern Brew and after securing a suitable property, Northern Brew was opened in May 2004.

Together with Anne's support it has grown since those early days into a thriving business focusing on superior customer service.

Rather than just selling products we have always tried to teach and nurture both new and experienced brewers alike to brew the best beer, wine and spirits possible. We want every person who uses our products to be proud to share their brews with friends and family and to know that they are more than comparable with commercial products.

We are keg system specialists with a broad knowledge of both products and systems.
